Too much traffic. 

I suspect it has to do with the need to cross bridges to get to good beaches - traffic was a nightmare to get anywhere.

I’m not impatient, but sometimes it’s better to just cut your losses.  

I know there has been some recent lower end apartment complexes in the area that have been bought and refaced which has helped change the look of the area but there is many duplex style homes scattered on Century 21st Dr along with Ivey Rd that increase foot traffic in the area.

Originally traffic was 80% VRBO, 20% Airbnb. 

@Kathy Kifer - I would add additional platforms: Airbnb and Zillow to get more traffic on your medium-term rental.

My big fear for Asheville s future is traffic.

I think the uptick in traffic definitely shows the common sentiment these days that it's important for MTRs and STRs to stand out as much as possible and that extra amenities can really make a difference in traffic/success

I'm looking forward to the increased traffic of the season to help out with the over saturation issue.

I get a TON of traffic from FB marketplace when I post a listing for rent.
