So, rain water coming in thru the roof can weaken the ceiling and go into the walls and soak into the carpet with dirty (probably dog poop).

Would love to soak up all the knowledge I can so any advise would be greatly appreciated!

The most important thing you can do right now is to surround yourself with the “right” people and soak it in.

Use a moist sponge - but not soaking wet.

So Soak it up and the biggest thing I would say is ASK QUESTIONS!

I'm soooo excited and I feel like a sponge-ready to soak up any and all information out there.

The point is to get yourself out there, be a sponge, soak it all in.
