@Melanie Stephens Tried to sell a unit during Covid but due to lack of inventory in the market the tenant refused that we take pictures of her belongings and post it publicly, refused any in person showings unless she could supervise with surveillance and then accused our realtor of sexual harassment.

Violent rapists I do not rent to, and people who use little children for their own sexual gratification deserve a special place in hell and I wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire.One big thing for me is age of the crime, even if it is misdemeanors a regular pattern of criminal offenses means you will have problems.

I was sold in being incorporated and yes it's supposed to protect you as a person is what sold me HOWEVER when one of my managers got wrapped up in a frivoulous sexual harasment lawsute the my corperation got sued, the mangager was sued personally and I was sued personally SO I had to defend me the corp and the manager!

Seattle won't let you use ANY criminal background, with exception of sexual abuse as an adult, and even then you have to have a 'business justification' if you deny based on it.

I think something like 90pct of the sexual assaults against children for example are not from random people abducting kids off the playground....it's a relative everyone knows.
