You need to go back to the drawing board and reconsider what you think bread and butter is for a DFW rental.If you buy 3 rentals cash with 100K, you are talking pretty low income stuff for DFW.

Now reading your comments about the crime rate and problems there I'm strongly reconsidering. 

Overall, I like how the end product looks.The only area I would reconsider is the kitchen. 

I'd reconsider section 8 if I were you.  

As J. stated, if it's too far off, I'd ask for the money back (all of it) and re-bid the job, probably wher I'd go since he made such a blunder off the bat or he's trying to get in your pocket, so either way, probably someone I'd reconsider using.
