I know that almost all great businesses go through their own challenges and hiccups and this was our mistake that could of ended badly if we didn't persevere through the challenges.    

Done right, these additional sources of income can become substantial - but it all takes time, effort, skill and perseverance.

I'll finish out the year developing my patience and perseverance as I work on structuring the foundation from which to launch into REI.

It takes perseverance but if you keep at it and there is money to be maid, there will be a way.

And @Alex Grosvenor also makes a great point about perseverance too.  

While perseverance is valuable, persevering while running a financial loss can be costly.

At the time many of my colleagues ridiculed my dumb perseverance & were convinced I'd go broke.
