I know groups are taking pauses due to the stay at home order but I'd like to connect now.

Just got this email:"Thanks for requesting an offer on ....... from Opendoor.Given the uncertainty surrounding the impact of COVID-19 across our markets and concern for the health and safety of our customers and employees, we are temporarily pausing the purchase of homes.

I know many lenders have pressed paused.....if not then they have tweaked guidelines. 

It’s in a class C neighborhood, currently listed for rent but with the current pandemic I don’t except it to be rented out ASAP.My fear is if I find a tenant who meets the screening requirements do you think they would not pay the rent to take advantage of the pause on evictions etc?

The social distancing has seemingly put my plans on pause unfortunately.

Hard Money and Private Lending operations that started over the past few years, backed by this Big Money, put a pause on lending.

As far as your comment of:  'the market doesn't need you anymore, yata, yata, yata' ... you need to come back to reality and look around you... no really, take a pause and a good look around... when is the last time you have seen a rental home offered by the government for you to rent?

I expected the market to take a pause, even though we have not seen a significant slow down: number of showings was still high the last 7 days as well as accepted offers.

@Greg Gangle when you are out of your own money and leverage, that's the best time to hit pause, even in a good market.

Either allow a pause button for all, or for no one!
