@Jonathan Feliciano Yes, you'll still have a monthly mortgage payment which would be inclusive of principal & interest and usually escrow for taxes and insurance.

Mortgages need income, not necessarily jobs.If the income is sufficient (inclusive of pension, social security, rental, etc), it'll be doable.
