What is your process for renting out your place after a potential tenant reaches out to you in Furnished Finder?

We put in around $15,000/$20k worth of construction & furnishings to bring it up to Airbnb standards.

MTR is really just a new term to describe a furnished LTR, and more recently those are often for less than a year stay but they've been around forever.

before OP sends the money to furnish for an MTR, they need to be very confident of their numbers.  

Urbana has one of the only Level 1 trauma center hospitals in the state located outside of metro Chicago, the university is a source of furnished housing, and Champaign county is one of only a few counties in IL with a growing population. 

You will most likely pay more than market rate so take that into account.You will then have to get it all furnished which can cost a pretty penny.

The cost of furnish an average size house could be as low as $5,000, if you are smart and go with high quality used furnishings like John said.

I’ve used furnished finder and airbnb to see listings so I can get an idea of rates but vacancy has been a little more difficult to nail down.

The units are fully furnished, including bedding and all utilities included. 

I'm also going to do it furnished, since I have extra furniture I'm moving from my current house this Friday.
