I have The same thing going on with direct burial with house built-in the 70s and they're telling me I have to pay for trenching conduit at cable.

The cheap / quick solutions would be (not by any order, just listing options here):* Channel molding, and running all wiring within the channels* Taking conduit from outside wall near service panel to outside wall area where a new line is needed; wire then runs inside the conduit* Using sub-panels (this might be expensive in materials, but could ease the installation labor)
