There's the side that says "it's a business and needs to be treated as such" and the side that says "it's a business, but there's room for compassion."

The reason we say we are upset is very often not really the reason, but it takes compassion, communication and patience to break down those walls and open up. 

Having compassion for people is an attribute not a hinderance.  

I just feel compassion for the other people who really, really wanted it.

Made it a point to instill some compassion in me. 

I have had two evictions , one was a holdover after purchasing a foreclosure ; both ended on good terms because I treated them with compassion despite remaining firm.

I am an old school land guy who started in the mid 70s when you had to use a compass and quad maps.. tax plat maps would not work when your in the mountains. you need to see how the terrain is laying out on the ground. 

Its good to have compassion for people.
