I’ve met most of my partners through in-person events because it’s easier to get a feel for someone’s personality and long-term vision.

If it appears to good to be true it probably is? 

If the separation of funds was for asset protection (in this case there was another reason), it is my belief that an umbrella policy is easier than trying to maintain separation of assets especially when the property has been purchased with individual’s money and financing.  

If you consistently analyze properties, recognizing a good deal will be much easier when it shows up.

They tend to be cheaper than banks and easier to deal with.As has been mentioned, websites can be tricky to navigate since you don't know who you are dealing with nor what their intentions are.

So infilling an income gap via people who can disappear just as easily as appear seems short sighted to me. 

That would set you up and make it easier to scale to another or larger project.

That would be cheaper and easier than redoing a roof.

You will get a higher appraisal (more money out on a refi) and have better appreciation and an easier path to a sale when that time comes.Very exciting stuff!
