The reasons cited by most people for getting our of the USA are: oppressive Federal legislation, a lack of morality in government, a lack of privacy, racial tensions, bad schools, and usurious taxation.Just thought this would be a good read for everyone....Charles

I like to start my "pitch" by letting them know that I am an investor and just got done watching a carlton sheets infomercial last night at 2 AM and wanted to buy there pending property for zero down and get cash back at closing.Once the tension gets really thick I then tell them I am totally kidding (which they are relieved about and are now smiling most of the time) I then go on to tell them my criteria (which is very specific) and that it looks like I just missed out on the deal they have that is pending and am wondering if there is any chance it may fall out.At first they tell me it's solid until I let them know that I ALWAYS buy through whomever tells me about a deal first and sell from that same person usually within 30 days me buying and rehabing it.I follow up with a template email letting them know my criteria and a link to my website (to hopefully establish some credibility) and then follow up on a regular basis to see if 1) if the deal I originally called about fell out 2) if they have anything new coming to market, any price reductions or know of any other agents that have good deals.This leads me to my buyers agent (wow that was a long winded way to get to the actual subject eh?).

Deadlines are intentionally and artificially compressed to create tension and drama.

Criticism just activates defensiveness and then you just have an argument and tension following, not a solution to the problem.

They are in all actuality a Retailer.So the real tension I feel here is not really aimed at Wholesalers.

I have a therapist but I don't dare talk about the problems of being affluent - because nobody sympathizes.I'm writing this post as a form of release of tension - but also to warn you that someday you may get the success you crave - but there are real downsides.In a nutshell the problems are:1 - Guilt - that you don't deserve what you have.2 - Fear - that you will lose what you have.

There wasn't any more or any less racial tension between minorities and the police than there is in Chicago, where I've also lived.

May be you can try to find a physical hobby like Yoga or martial arts to ease up your mind & tension.

Make sure the piers are at the right spacing, rebar where it should be, post-tension cables set correctly, and slab poured to the right depth etc.

Charles Perkins I think 10 years down the line, a landlord who tries to become publically known for providing the best customer service and housing will consequently create tension on nearby landlords.
