I'm considering investing in STR in Hawaii to diversify my investment portfolio (mainly for capital appreciation) as well as it being a regular vacation place for my family.

On the other hand, I feel one of the main advantages of passive investments (via syndication/crowdfunding) is that I can hire a manager who has years more experience than I can ever hope to obtain myself.

Would you say those are the main benefits?

Do you typically have a separate bank account for each property or do you have one main operating bank account? 

Mainly because if I used that metric alone I would not have done my last 10 successful flips. 

Hey @Kimberley Sewell, I have never used it but they definitely focus on the revenue instead of the home price.For example, on the main page, there is a place that showed up for me in PA for $397k.

Mainly because of being priced out of the market around us here in NY.
