I agree with AI especially as people seem to take everything they read as fact even when it is clearly wrong.With vehicles-I'm in Canada-I think part of the increased cost is associated with more bells and whistles and people buying larger vehicles.

I think novice operators are trying go too heavy on amenities to compete with the big boys/girls/people and they can't do it as well because they don't have the operational experience.Consistency is the key for new operators and that goes for quarterly photo updates, dynamic pricing, and communication.Too many people got into the space in the past three years who thought of STRs as passive income when that is just silly.

I am sure there are lots of different reasons for it. well they were replaced by those crossing the border 750k out of 42 mil probably not that big of an impact.. traffic is still really heavy I was just there last weekend in the SF bay area no signs of the state looking like some of the dead cities one finds in the rust belt or deep south.
