If you go a little north the Black Diamond meetings in Waltham are a great place to learn and meet a lot of investors (2nd meeting in Worcester).  

The is also my investor group Black Diamond, url in my signature, which has a broader perspective and you are welcome to attend. 

Most things are more east but you have the Black Diamond meeting in Worcester that is a must go to for you.  

Ann also runs a great meeting, the Black Diamond meeting, in Waltham (2nd meeting in Worcester) that meets later in the month.  

(FYI they all signed up for the Diamond for $42k because the concentration is on wholesale and flips in the beginning to make the money fastest....

@Ann Bellamy has a great event called Black Diamond held the 4th Tuesday of the month in Waltham.

The Black Diamond events in Worcester and Waltham (I live about 2 miles from this one and I did a project in Bellingham last year so can attest that it is a pretty easy drive) are very good and worth the drive.  

And I don't think turnkey operators want to work with wholesalers - you would just add cost to their deal while adding very little value.Stay the course and don't try to turn crap into diamonds - keep looking for diamonds in the rough that YOU can buy FROM THE SELLER and sell to a CASH BUYER.

@Ann Bellamy above hosts the Black Diamond event that is next Tuesday in Waltham and there is the Boston REIA that meets next Thursday and @Justin Silverio who commented above has started hosting a BiggerPockets Meetup in Woburn that will meet next month.There are a bunch more as well but that is a good start with ones that are close to you.
