Columbus has a great history as the beginner of commercial aviation.

the old pilot in me is trying to figure it out.. since aviation is all 3 and 4 letter short cuts.I think most of the short cuts you guys use these days is lost on me. 

my underground guy is my aviation partner with 125 employees and he owns all the iron that he leases to the company for 150k a month  etc etc..

Dinner at Mavro's or Sasabune is on me after :) I retired as Pilot in Command this year.. 40 years no accidents thought it best to go out on a high note.. when you do have an ut oh in small private aviation if it does not kill you it maims you pretty good.. other than hanger rash type things..

REcapture also is tough with big capital items you buy for your business Like your airplane.. that one sneaks up on a guy.. and there is a big reason that the successful real estate company that has private aviation will usually move up … and if they do sell they have massive recapture so you want to sell that airplane in a down market when you have so loss carry backs to off set.. did this in 2009 post crash we sold one airplane that had I not had some loss carry backs would have been 100k plus to pay tax on .. 

well I would not go that far.. for many there is an aviation saying it goes like this.... actually a few...
