Do you have a price range that you'd be targeting for your first property?

I am looking in the 750k-1.1m range with between 6-10 units.

Managing tenants is no easy task, it takes such a wide skill set. 

I’m planning to do this for 3 multifamily properties all located in MA, each ranging from 2 to 4 units.

Something like this would be in the range of needing $200-300k to get done.

For owner managed properties like this we see expense ratios in the 35%+ range. 

Our investment to value (ITV) in the notes we purchase is usually in the 50-60% range, a significant amount of equity to protect our position and our private capital position. 

@Jaycee Greene I’m looking to buy another 2 unit duplex, prices are ranging between 500K - 650K.

High end vs mid range?

As a new investor, would prefer something in the Class B range, ideally closer to turn-key but open to doing some minor rehab if needed.I grew up in Montgomery County PA so am familiar with the areas.
