That's how I was able to renegotiate the price for one of my house hacking clients.

In my experience the sale after the sale is the heavy lift, where the hours really come into it, seeing things through inspection, re-negotiations, appraisal and closing process.

First, the purpose of an inspection is not to renegotiate a deal.

If you bone the offer and then try to claw back in inspections or renegotiate, you won't be seeing any more deals.On true dumps, I bring my team with me to the viewing and do as much due diligence as possible before even making an offer.

There also seemed to be a lot more room to renegotiate management or purchase contracts versus residential where people tend to tell you things are set in stone. 

Definitely not a slam dunk because you did have some info on these issues, and did have the opportunity to dig deeper on these issues during your due diligence window and renegotiate accordingly prior to closing.
