I like the pontoon boat rental idea as an add-on service for your STR - on decent-sized lakes, pontoon boat rentals can easily bring in $200-250 for a half day rental or $400-500 for a full day rental, so you could make a tidy little profit off of this kind of add-on amenity. 

There is a stunning luxury STR on market that would generate six figures in gross annual income.

I'm working towards my first STR on my own, hopefully by the years end.

Well that’s disappointing owning a STR on an island is one of my LTR Goals and Barcelona was on my short list.

So much that we converted to student housing in off season and STR only in the summer. 

I also run an STR on the east side of Detroit that does great!

I know of at least 4 instances where investors purchased properties with agent representation that had intentions of doing an STR only to be denied a permit by the city after closing.Let me know if you have any other questions.

The last information I saw reflected it limiting the individual investor to a max of 90 days per year allowed to do STR on a property that is not their primary residence.
