I've managed a few parking facilities before, and the majority of the properties I've managed have parking.

My background before investing was corporate facilities for commercial properties, so I know the game.

One of the SF (which if I go this route will be my starter home) is at the heart of my city within a 10 minute drive from almost EVERYTHING while the second is a bit on the outskirts and near all of our oil and gas company's (hundreds as per google).  

This tax is designed to protect tax-paying businesses from unfair competition from tax-exempt entities.Running a self-storage facility is a business. 

Years ago I owned an auto repair facility leased to a general auto repair at $2500 monthly.  

The fire departments have their own fancy training facilities etc and not likely even interested, around here, but i could be wrong.

I know how to change my oil but there is a reason I do not.

Just seems like there is a facility on every corner haha. 

I don't think their extra service (where they set up your listing) is worth the premium if you are facile with writing attractive advertising copy.
