I thought I saw it listed as a half way house or mental health housing.

Typically, homeowners who lost everything are going to be in shock and not going to be in that mental headspace right away.

It’s mentally tasking, which is my biggest battle now.

It’s so mental but if you have stuffed feelings of hatred against the successful people you see you actually are also going to judge your future self for becoming successful and likely sabotage it before you get there. 

The people who share my mentality are few and far between.

That is a mental state you can't just pretend.

If they do, then you can likely find another tenant for that amount fairly easily, as I would assume the entire town's taxes are up- so if someone really wanted to be in town, that price is the new normal.If your taxes increased that substantially in a C neighborhood, your tenants would way more likely give push back for that type of increase- even though you're not being greedy, you're just imposing the same raise you were given.Often the buyer who had the "well, the numbers are better" mentality is only looking at year 1. 

So at this point given the large amount of income that the wealth management company kicks off, this very nice profit from the real estate portfolio is looking less and less attractive every year especially considering the time and mental real estate it takes up for her and the tax consequences.

Agreed, I share the same mentality.

While that is not a big hurdle, it should at least start to give you an understanding of the mentality the Italian government have towards business owners.
