Hi I’m Derek I’m new to BP. As a Canadian looking to invest in the states I’m wondering if there is any like minded Canadians in here who would be willing to chat! 

Can you do contracting work on properties and learn valuable skills that will help you remodel properties, flip them, or otherwise learn as much as possible about the construction trade? 

I do have monthly mortgages to be paid and not having rental income to offset my negative cash flow has been a learning experience and really trying to think of what options I have to have better success at this.

I’m also a big believer in giving back, so I hope to contribute to this community as well.Looking forward to learning and connecting with you all!

Currently I am working in partnership on a luxury Air Bnb property in the Philippines to familiarize myself in short-term rentals.I live in Cerritos, CA and am looking to invest into a multi-family home to house-hack in Orange County, CA to get started.I will need a residential agent and possibly a contractor.I look forward to learning and hopefully working with you all!

Currently the owner operator of a motel. We are looking to move from that, to a rental property, or a self storage property.
