I set up a headshot, started a website and made some business cards and have already seen an improvement of my networking.

Probably a good idea to use that pic instead of the headshot you had up.

I kinda wonder what's next, do realtors need to remove headshots from our card and marketing content so that sellers dont discriminate based on the color or gender of the buyer's agent?  

The bonus with the events postcard thing is that people tend to keep it around for the whole month, so make sure you info and ideally your business headshot are on the front.As far as your farm, it's good to do the same kind of thing - always have something that shows competence, like a market update, but if you can include something else that's useful or funny (truly funny) that sets you apart or makes them think -'gee, that's helpful, I think I'll keep this) then that's better.

You have to move beyond the professional website, photo shopped head shots, big name accounting firm, opinion letter from five name on letterhead law firm, to get at the PROPERTY and DEAL itself.

Quick tip: if you are interested in making connections in real estate investment and on Bigger Pockets, I would consider swapping out your photo or cropping it so it's just a headshot.

I am going to take some professional head shots this weekend and then see what I can come up with for a simple but to the point business card. 

Call your local modeling agency in your area,, ask what is needed to be included in their "talent for children" listings they'll want to know his details, and you'll need to submit a head shot with along with his clothing sizes, shoe sizes, and you'll need to be available when they call for a "go see" where he's sent for a brief consult if selected from a mini group of others where they decide if he's a good match.Smiles, not to shy, able to turn, move, and follow direction is a big plus. there's been a bigger calling for other than the blue eyed blonde stereotype..
