Are there any guidelines or best practices (ie: rewiring such a property would be more valuable than updating insulation).Is it something you need to ask the insurance company about to get, or is all this determined in the initial interview with the potential insurer?

@Kenzer Hodgson For your STR, an umbrella policy can provide liability coverage, but an LLC offers additional asset protection by separating your personal and business assets, which can be valuable in case of lawsuits or audits.

Beachfront or properties near attractions tend to perform best.Mid-Term Rentals (MTRs): These are gaining traction, especially with traveling nurses and remote workers.

Has anybody invested with them who can provide some valuable feedback?

And when the borrower defaults on a note like this, the notes actually become more valuable to me.
