I don't think it ends the way the DOJ envisioned. 

Who do envision renting it to?

I would envision the market would be people wanting to come to Austin for a month so potentially traveling nurses, corporate housing, or people working remote in Austin for a month. 

But in the end - It is never as easy as you envision, and never as bad as what's keeping you from taking the plunge.  

Hey @Raul Tirado - I've worked with developers in Queens to figure out whether or not what you're envisioning is even worth it. 

Effective staging can lead to higher offers and quicker sales because buyers can envision themselves living in the space.

I don't envision any large cap ex.

Our goals: Obtain another investment property while not having to pay anything for a down payment.I envision that my in-laws would use $250k (equity in current house) as a down payment to get into a new smaller location.

There are always cycles in real estate, but because of the size of the housing shortage, lack of new builds, and the largest economy in the country, it's hard to envision where we won't continue to see price and rent appreciation.
