Hi, I have a 3 family property (built in 1900) that I purchased about 2 years ago and just recently got a home energy audit and in order to take advantage of the state of Massachusetts credit toward insulation of the unit, I am going to have to replace the below space heater because the carbon monoxide emissions are slightly above the allowed limit.  

Toilet tank parts fix, OK fine.Water heaters here are required to be low emissions. 

Has anyone heard of or used the EnviroTabs (http://www.envirotabs.com/) which claim to to a whole lot - from increasing the MPG by 18% to reducing emissions?

I haven't seen that movie however I can predict more taxes in the form of unseen or phantom taxes (you know the ones, you hear about them ONCE on the news and suddenly there they are and quickly forgotten) like the gasoline tax or the cigarette tax...perhaps now we will have the "bottled water tax" or the "federal *** emissions tax" (aka: the farmer's stock animal fart tax) or the "domestic house pet tax" on the pet food from the store.......because they sure as hell are not going to stop SPENDING our money or earmarking.....Soon taxpaying Americans will be storming the borders of Canada and Mexico just to stop the taxation madness of the next SEVERAL generations.

I've a couple problems with eradication of carbon based emissions.

He's decided to simply institute massive new government regulation via dictitorial fiat through new EPA caps on carbon emissions STARTING NEXT WEEK!

There is no amount of damage that we can do that won't be repaired in a couple hundred thousand years.That said, I am a big fan of reducing dirty fuel emissions, as I hate to think my kid's lifespan will be shorter than mine due to pollution and other hazards associated with non-clean fuels.So, why exactly did you claim I believed global warming is man made?

The obvious solution would be to reduce greenhouse gases but that is hard to do because so much of our economic development and growth have come through the emission of such gases.
