Campaign promises are likely to be curtailed, re-formulated or scrapped all together to ensure markets / business don't de-stabilize and thwart growth.

Brexit was perceived as largely a negative destabilizing event, and thus a rush to treasuries and thus lower rates.

If Trump redefines some of the trade agreements there is speculation that will strengthen the U.S economy but destabilize the world economy some.
