The landlord says his tenant has always been courteous and friendly and doesn’t believe that his tenant threatened my tenant and doesn’t seem to want to evict.

@Minh NguyenOn Day 5, did you have any large men approach the tenant's relatives, neighbors, and friends and ask them courteously if they could talk to the tenant about the advisability of moving out quickly?

You don't have to do that, but it's courteous considering that these are people you share wall(s) with. 

I’ve had tenants that were late for “life unavoidable circumstances” but were courteous enough to call and let me know the situation and that they would be paying the late fees and rent on such and such a date.

By far, the people that stay in our extra rooms are more courteous, respectful and leave the place in better condition.

I would be courteous, but firm.

I know people think it is courteous to give your employer several months to find a replacement, but most employers would let an employee go with a days notice and not feel bad at all about it.

Your reply was funny that you'd assume that I should be the one to go out of my way to contact them and be neighborly, when they've never been the least bit courteous.
