Unfortunately it does have a negative connotation in folks minds which I had at first initially.To the original poster Jason - I will tell you this - do your homework when you pick a facility for your MIL - the big/flashy do not always give the best care - you can have all the amenities in the world but if you do not have happy staff, good management on site, and a host of other things in order your MIL will not receive the care she needs.

@Ryan Herald my statements are general in nature... just computing10% down equals 300k which means 3million buy / 85 = 35k per houseand in the lending world those are viewed as low value assets.. not a negative connotation just what they are deemed in the lending world.I suspect you will be able to put this together I bet you get people private messaging you already offering to help you/good luck and glad we did not break the BP rules of engagement :) Ok I got to go make some money so I can afford to be an investor

It may just mean that the premium will be higher, but if it connotes an availability issue, then that will have direct implications on their ability to obtain financing as well.
