Everyone at the conference in Austin had also been taken on a funding tour in Austin and some people, who were already Inner Circle members, were there and bought houses, so I already knew something about how it worked.

They can introduce you to all the local players you will need like property managers and lenders.Over time, increase your own personal knowledge and development with books, podcasts, and conferences on the topic.But finding a commercial real estate broker with a teacher's heart will go a long way to getting you started.To your success!

@Jay Hinrichs, while I wasn't going to call them MLM, I did attend an Armando Montelongo (A&E's Flip this House from mid 2000's) seminar at a hotel conference room in 2007 or 08, which was the free funnel to spend $1,500 for a three day seminar or $25,000 for an in-person mentorship.I have seen similar promoted with Christina and Tarrek from Flip or Flop more recently.I didn't start realizing how profitable education can be until the last 5 or so years.  

Alternately, if you’re going to do this at volume, and you’ll have to since margins here are thin, I would attend some of the lender conferences.

Their training was less than mediocre and I just returned from a wealth conference and had the Pricelabs CEO look at my listing and confirmed the direction given was not necessary.
