My towns have restaurants, movie theaters, live music venues, concerts on the green, great schools, and more.

There's concerted effort by gov to paint the good picture in wall street that everything is fine LOL while brutal layoffs in all sector, ISM recession and company diminishing profit/growth in the main street.this is what's different than 2008 comparably speaking. 

The AC area ones about 80% of revenue is drawn during peak season, but there are still some bookings that come in for Casino, concert, etc.

If they say you can afford $3500/mo but  you know that you like to have money for eating out a lot, concerts, travel, whatever, then be smart.  

People come from all over to tour the bourbon facilities, the concerts, river events. 

Triple A baseball, minor league hockey, concerts, plays, etc.

However, it's still the closest thing to "Vegas" on the east and seems to be pivoting towards an event/vacation driven economy. iE hosting concerts, conventions, sports tournaments, amateur fights, ect.What are we missing here?
