All this mowing, gutter cleaning, trash pick up, planting, washing, even doing garage clean outs (often for older people in my old home town) was ideal training for being a hands on landlord (yes, it is not all Donald Trump board room stuff, but hands on property work).. 

They need at least 3 conference rooms and 1 board room, a large kitchen for staff, a separate break room, and 4 executive sized offices, maybe 4-6 smaller offices and a smaller reception area.They currently have an office in Richmond Hills area and want to stay relatively close.

I want it to feel less like a "dog and pony show" and more like a "boardroom".

Having said that, I am a blue collar guy, and I've seen board room executives and the most blue of blue collar guys throw the F bomb around.  

You have no idea what you are even invested in.I dont like the idea of investing in paper, whose value could be influenced by a CEO in a boardroom making a decision because his wife just cheated on him.By the way, I am a physician earning >3xxK per year.

The reality is more about painting walls, cleaning gutters, and communicating with tenants than any fancy boardroom antics or HGTV scripts.Best of luck!

Anybody who has ever sit in a board room with a large company knows too many only care about the 2-4 years not the long term.

We never offer kick backs ... and our realtors would never accept them ... it would be bad for everyone involved.But it is all about relationship building and we do show our gratitude.We had a mobile service show-up at the brokerage office during a weekly sales meeting; knock on the boardroom door (looking like repo guys) and ask our agent for his car keys.  

I have reached out to Corey Peterson to get into his boardroom but haven’t heard back yet.
