I would be content to let that one remain by themself, but not the other one by themself.It will be awkward to tell them that, as they aren't renewing *together*, I am not renewing the lease as it is, but that I am offering it to just one of them.

I know this works for STRs, but I feel like it may be awkward for an MTR considering the nurses will essentially live together and be roommates for several months.

Even if it's awkward at first.

Personally, I'm not willing to deal with the headache of constant switching, especially since my market allows me to flip to STR to fill awkward gaps.

Being ready for this line of questioning can save you from an awkward conversation.I've been on many hundreds of showings to compile this, so don't let these wild answers discourage you or make you think all tenants are up to something.  95% of the conversations I've had are extremely pleasant and forthcoming, and I'm positive your experience will be the same. 

The other bedroom has two openings that make it a bit awkward as well.Options I am thinking of1) Thick curtains/drapes: easiest to install, provides some privacy.

I'm a bit socially awkward myself but I'll definitely be going to one or more of these meet ups.
