I am going to keep a separate business checking account for these activites and will use it strictly to get gas to drive to property, deposit rents, pay mortgage, drive around for properties, reia memberships, repairs, etc.

@Dane Peterson  there is some FLA statue that John quotes.however when you read virtually any states regs for what activites require a real estate licenseit will be a version of this:For any individual or company that for expectation of monetary gain is bringing two parties together in a real estate transaction a license is required.

your correct... but you as a non licensed person can't engage in broker activity.. he should know what you can and cannot do.. if your not licensed your an unlicesnsed assistant with certain rules that attach to your activites..
