Just curious, I’m a big magazine fan (physical copies).

Regarding rising and falling, similar that most major real estate websites/magazines provide this information.

There have been many sources of plans over the years from magazine directories, to online versions of the same. 

I was interviewed by Builder Magazine years ago explaining the reasons.  

(Looking for books, magazines, websites, job opportunities potentially, etc).

Josh and Brandon brought different views and strengths to the show - Brandon was kind of the inspirational, "rah-rah" guy while Josh was the quintessential New Yorker, calling BS on things that needed to be called BS and bringing reality and humility to the show.

I am also a New Yorker looking to invest in the Midwest. 

You should also invest in a professional real estate photographer and a lock box) You may just decide to go with an agent that can provide professional level photos and an amazing marketing package (including listing exposure in real estate magazines, etc) If you do go with an agent- make sure to ask for their marketing plan for the property as well as a record of their past sales, etc.
