MA is too expensive.

Because I find MAI appraisals to be very useful, though often very inaccurate as to market value.  

I had planned to have the paper notarized at the Chiang Mai Consulate but they only do notarizing 2 days a week and the slots filled up quickly.

My neighboring state of MA is $500/year per LLC.Then it all depends on volume - more entities and trusts, more fees.But...first and foremost...start investing (if that is your plan), get good insurance, and then only add in complexity as needed.
