I just think it's wise to survey the opportunities in your area for both and find the best deal vs. upkeep meaning don't try to also do value add on a large scale.

That's a great summary and it sounds like it offers more than RentRedi (without the add-ons at least).

if you add one ADU, you will likely be comped against quads with maybe a slight adjustment for it not being a true quad.  

It’s just like buying a new car for $35k and getting the sport package for an extra $2k, relative to the car, the add-on is not expensive.

But look out, lower cost management companies make it back through add-on fees, so scrutinize that agreement carefully.
