I am a software developer and I authored our current software, so interfacing to their API is not really a big issue, but I am not sure if anyone is familiar witth the process of using an API, If you arent familiar with the good ol nitty gritty programming, you arent going to get very far before pulling out all your hair.

They require a lot of coordination and assistance from folks on the ground without being able to rely on a tenant interfacing.

Privy, with a simpler interface, is good for beginners and on-market deals at a lower cost but provides less detailed data and fewer search options.

Some counties have some sort of GIS (geographical information system) interface for their data.

In the real estate SFH market, we observed multiple platforms like Zillow, Redfin, Realtor, Trulia, and Movoto - each offering unique user interfaces, features, and experiences. 

Again, some of these more "professional mentors" are the face and when you are in their program, they have their "team" interface with you day in and day out.  

My husband does most of the management of my properties and interfacing with our tenants, but he is not on the title and so isn't an owner.

Because my son is also super involved with our properties, I wanted a seamless interface for him to be able to use. 

I just feel like you have to take every claim with a grain of salt...I used propstream for a year, and I probably will sign up again soon... was intrigued by PIN and the flashier interface, but not excited about the upfront cost...  

We have one that is this thursday (tomorrow) at 4:15-6:15 after interface kc multifamily.
