One way to cash in is to look outside Boston for your next home.You can be somewhere close like Weymouth, Braintree - the northern part of the south shore.  

What are rents like in Randolph like close to the Braintree line for 3 bed 2 bed and 1 bed units right now

This is my first tenant in Braintree, and it was a bit harder to find someone.I also forgot to mention: they DO have their own oil service, and they do have auto delivery set up. 

What do you think the price of multi family or single family houses will be in 5-10 years particularly in the south shore towns like Weymouth Braintree Quincy I bought my first 2 family near Weymouth Landing about 2 months ago and want to know how it will appreciate over time 

I live in Braintree Massachusetts and I am looking to flip for the first time in this general area.

A friend of mine and his fiancé just bought a house in Braintree (pretty hot desirable market) and their neighbor approached them and said "hey we're looking to sell, if you know anyone we won't want to use a realtor."

I would be surprised if Weymouth had the same prices as Braintree and Quincy.  

My gut tells me that more young white collar professionals will look to rent outside the city as the rental market continues to to soar, even in places like Dorchester.One place I've been all over recently is Weymouth/Braintree landing.

(Zoning laws changed to make three-deckers difficult to build as popular opinion turned against them in the 30's and 40's, but denser apartment buildings from the 60s and 80s that you find in West Roxbury and Braintree for example, are not nearly as robust and don't command the same rents that classic three-deckers do.

I agree Shaun,I'm new to real estate investments  but I have been looking to purchase a 2or3 unit MF in the Quincy/braintree area for the past 8-months and the numbers just don't make sense.
