Situation: Divorce, abusive relationship.

Many times if the title company sniffs this as potential Elder abuse they will insist on it as well as they don't want to be a party to it

Do they only check for violent/sexual crime and threats to other tenant, or is a marijuana felony usually enough to keep a tenant from renting a place to live?

Just got abuse from the previous owner and a long story why she had not been paying the Tax's on the property for a number of years. 

This is different from the point of sale inspection or section 8 inspections.Looks like it's pretty recent and Cleveland requires annual ($35) registration which requires a mandatory inside and outside inspection for any rental.What worries me about this is that it's going to be abused by the inspectors.

I thought that that was crazy - we did have issues prior (one of the roommates moved out claiming domestic abuse) but the last couple of months, things have been ok.

One key though is making sure your property can handle the abuse of younger renters.

It is a camp site operation.It is an estate, I purchase the interest of one of the owners because the other owner is being difficult and abusive. 

@Ryland Taniguchi, the LLC piercings of single member ownership that I have seen all involve abuse of the LLC financially and being under-capitalized.
