Lesser known, but laser focused on the HOA sector.

I personally love this market because of their efforts to diversify the economy away from agriculture and energy and into other sectors.

The only mandated item I am aware of for all states is that the batteries in the smoke sectors must be changed and itvis the landlords responsibility.

You might ask about unemployment, or find out how diverse the job market is, whether it's dependent on one thing like one big company or farming or if it's 3+ sectors, like tech, energy, and farming. 

One question that I have is, do you know which sector of the economy do your tenants work in?

Obviously everyone wants to be in on hyper-growth tech companies like the next Google, but I sure wouldn't put my entire nest egg in a highly volatile sector/asset class where buying at the wrong time could crush me.
