The KC property, based on the market might fall in the same boat, but it will be tougher.

Within Vegas itself, if you are going for multi family, you are in some of the tougher areas of town. 

So, if the seller chose the faster-closing offer then they are deciding that $x is the value of those 2 weeks that the faster closer offered, which is a tougher answer to give as a seller.  

Plenty of people do very well with rentals in tougher areas, it just takes the right combo of business skills and people skills.  

You can fix the roof the plumbing etc. it's a lot tougher to fix a bad PM.

So for me it was very easy I know what a mechanics lien is I know basic contract law etc just being in the business .. but if your a actual construction worker this would need to be learned so it could be a little tougher..

If they are living for free in the inherited house though, it’s tougher.

BRRRR's are getting tougher as markets get tighter but if you can pull it off it's a great way to snowball your portfolio.

New Braunfels is a little tougher market but one of just a few places builders are selling to investors and 35 min to downtown San Antonio and 45 min to downtown Austin.

@Jennifer Cramer  This is one of the more challenging times to invest given the macro dynamics of rising interest rates and falling RE valuations, it's tougher to get a handle on what is a good deal.
