One less bit of technology. 

My profession for the past 20 years has been Information Technology.

My wife and I are very part time RE investors at this point, but my full time passion for entrepreneurship is in the world of software and technology.  

With technology becoming so advanced to the instant gig-economy, where does that leave retail real estate?

The internet and new technologies have upended all sorts of old, crusty, inefficient institutions.

I like having access to all activity (i.e. income, repairs, fees, receipts, etc.) with my property via the Client Portal, but it leaves much to be desired from a technology perspective.

Technology is leveling the playing field. 

Main reasons are the technology, top notch education that you can partake in from anywhere in the world, powerful lead generation program, good commission splits, equity program in the company.

Wondering if there are any niche, unorthodox, or emerging technologies that people use that they are really excited about.Here's a non-real estate example: I love using Breaker for podcasts, it has a ton of potential and a lot of the key features I want in a podcasting platform, still some bugs and kinks to work out, but I'm excited about being an early user.
