Do you think you're more deserving of a better life than they are?

As soon as you start ragging it out, you start convincing yourself you need/want/deserve a new car.

To give them a better lifestyle that they deserve.

I would love to own a machine gun, preferably the M60, you know, to show how tough I am and that i deserve respect.  

I totally agree with you that had I told them my goal was to spend 50k on a seminar/coaching package then I would deserve to get negative feedback.

@Alex Young ,you said "I am trying to change my mentality from victim-like to creative"....if you can truly change your mindset there....you might have a chance.I'd challenge you to rethink every time you have a thought of "I deserve"....to have a comfy job that pays $XX and let's me sleep and surf., etc.Why do you deserve it?

They haven't lived life yet and realize how hard it is to earn a $dollar.http://www.ocregister.com/articles/rent-722020-per...It's related to the whole Bernie Sanders movement which was HUGE.It's about people just thinking humans DESERVE stuff. 

Whatever the pay is in the military, it's well deserved!

I feel like a much more confident and happier person than I was even just 2 months ago when I decided I deserved more out of life.

I, on the other hand, think that if the flipper took all the risk and did all the work, he deserves the gain, and there's still gain left for us (in the form of cashflow).
