As I currently live in NJ and plan to buy another house hack in the coming months, I want to think further ahead as well. 

But I feel I see some people grow rather rapidly. wasn't sure if they were using some sort of other method to get ahead. 

Also, plan on getting capacity for a level 2 electric vehicle charger and capacity for electric ovens/stoves and electric dryers.
