If you're planning on building an ADU or JADU 'yourself', my suggestion is to make sure you have some previous knowledge of construction and also make sure you know good sub-contractors in the following trades:  electrical, plumbing, foundation, roofing, framing, drywall/paint, stucco, tile, cabinetry, flooring, HVAC, concrete, etc.The last thing you want is poor quality work that has to be re-done because a handyman or the wrong tradesman did the work.

It's a B- class neighborhood.Apparently there is some dog pee odor and some bad scratches in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and water damaged next to the kitchen (which is tile).The bamboo flooring flows through all the rest of the house except the bathrooms and kitchens.Would would you suggest?

Bathroom includes a ceramic tile floor, shower and single vanity.

Someone suggested at shower receptacle for the base and subway tile the way up.

The home has wood floors, tile countertops, claw foot bathtub and a yard with an old-fashioned porch swing.

We buy from a local supplier and get then for 600 with all, 500 to install, takes 3 hours.All the best, keep up the good fight :)  

Hi Felipe,Title & Escrow typically ranges from 0.75%-1.5% of the price, but I'd recommend getting an estimate from your preferred tile & escrow company.

I also like to go to the "Layers" tile found on the bottom left corner of Google maps. 

For Rentals, Luxury Vinyl Plank/Tile is the way to go!
