@James DeRoest,Because even if the window is better, if it isn't installed properly it could actually pose a greater hazard.A lot of this type of legislation is lobbied for and/or sponsored by the insurance companies.

This is assuming the current version of the senate bill passes, but if the property is under contract before Jan 1, then it falls under the current 2 in 5 year rule.And every real estate lobbying group is talking about it...NAR, NAHB etc.

The downside to ButterflyMX and Viking is that neither of them accept a USPS lock core, so if you have mailboxes in the lobby, the mailman will not be able to get into the lobby unless you purchase a separate electronic switch that accepts a USPS lock core.

on the Peninsula, a movie theater ticket should cost $50.Frankly it is very upsetting to see how crazy it is, but this is a great place to live so we aren't going to move to a place where $300-400k buys us a mansion.So I am trying to think of a way to get us in a great single family detached home in the $300-500k range, I was thinking: FORECLOSURE AUCTIONS!
