Two of our rentals have taken on water and our personal home might too.I was thinking about going over there as soon as the water recedes under slab and start shop vacuuming, ripping out baseboards/door trim and sheet rock and insulation, and setting up fans.

I've seen owner's have to rip out everything they covered up just to keep a potential sale alive.

I ripped mine out because I pay water and it is a fortune in the town.

I cannot renovate with a tenant in because at this stage, once I rip into one piece it will lead to a cascade of issues.

That made me so angry I ripped out the microwave and donated it to Community Forklift.

So just completed a home/termite inspection on a duplex, found termite residues (State of NC defines it as active termite infestation), there is minor noticeable damage on the shoe molding on the floor but no signs of wear and tear on the wall but I nor the inspector cannot tell without ripping apart the wall how bad the infestation is- the seller is willing to pay for a termite extermination but my concern is how much damage these termites have already done on the inside of my walls that I cannot see- is there a termite expert professional I can hire to inspect the home more in depth during my due diligence period or anyway for me to get a peace of mind for this matter? 

Had a maple tree fall on a pool enclosure, but only caused a 6 inch rip in the screen.  

I went in and ripped out the whole ceiling above the tub and toilet.
