Totally agree , and when a home inspector looks at a house built over 100 years ago and writes a report based on current codes . 

You can also request recent inspection reports and detailed photos.

Comparing your post to my experience thus far I feel I am in for a fairly robotic loan experience.I have yet to see the actual loan agreement, but I have requested this and will report back when i get a copy.  

Can you point me to a reported decision where a court ordered money damages in lieu of specific performance when real property was the subject of the dispute?

Is there a report that says lower priced homes are more likely to have a seller assistance?
