I suspect at least in this case the lawyer representing the tenants would have a field day with your master lease after the fact.but if you set up the master lease before you move a tenant in on a sub lease maybe that works but it does preclude the other party to due notice and their day in court.this is the same as HML having borrowers sign DIL's at the inception of the loan.. that's not legal but done all the time and some that default just walk away but if anyone raised the issue the court would over turn the dil  in heart beat.
